We’ve just recieved a bit of info from Huck about the rolling back the years show on Thursday. So it looks like the show has been even more popular than they thought and releases this statement….
‘Rolling Back The Years London has been so popular, we would love to have all of you at the private view but we can’t, we are at the limits of the capacity of the venue, we don’t have a choice we need to close the guest list for tomorrow. But don’t worry, our pop up gallery and shop will be open from Friday 12 noon till Sunday 15, where you can see the artwork and even buy goodies like screenprints, Huck mags, Love’n'skate, Volcom x Jimbo Phillips tees and Vans shoes.’
Anyone lucky enough to be on the guest list is set for a banger of an evening!

Check it out everyone, Schoph’s just been in touch and sent us an amazing offer to blog out! Basically this is the sketch….. After a rad year of art shows, Schoph wanted to show a little appreciation for all those who have supported and helped him out … (oh and show a bit of the old christmas spirit of course) by picking 5 originals from his own collection of art to give away at the cost of postage and packaging and a little creativity back. All you have to do is send something you’ve created to Schoph… this can be a drawing / art swap, poem or short story, photograph, a dam good reason why they should have a piece, any other way of getting inspired and creative!
Once you’ve chosen your creative genre simply photograph the work and send it to the dalikfodda page on facebook or to Schoph himself. Schoph will then pick the winners and get in contact with them. The closing date is December 31st… GOOD LUCK!
Rootz has just teamed up with Cab 9 snowboard school in Meribel on a colab t-shirt for the coming winter season.

Also as a special offer, Rootz’s Jagerhosen piece that was featured in the Vans Lookin Sideways project with
Huck magazine, is now available for only £50! The piece is is limited edition to just 5 and will soon sell out
so get your hands on one before they are gone!

Straight off the back of his Art of Flight exhibition, Schoph has got some new pieces at the RedHouse Originals Gallery in Harrogate. The show The Time is Now opens on the 2nd of December and runs through to the 30th of January, and also features work from Sir Peter Blake and art/photos from Terry Cryer, Pete Mckee , David Rushbatch to name but a few. Looking forward to seeing Schoph’s new work entilteld Bikers and Pin ups.

Schoph’s show at Red Bull studios went down a storm last week with the whole place heaving! Check out the photos to see some of the work which in my mind is some of Schoph’s best so far. We’ll get some photos of the finished pieces up soon and hopefully there will be some prints of the pieces for sale too. Yet again Schoph pulls in a big crowd all hungry to see his surrealist pop weirdness manifest itself onto canvas and wood! Many thanks to Sam Mellish and Erik the Viking for all the photos!

So many of you whether into snowboarding or not will probably have heard of The Art of Flight, if you haven’t it’s pretty much the biggest, most expensive and visually stunning snowboard film ever made! The film premiers in London this month and to mark the launch of it Lib-tech, Quiksilver and Red Bull have organised an official launch party the day before featuring some brand new work from Schoph. The party is on wednesday 16th at the Red Bull Studios on Tooley street where Subism held it’s Curating Spaces exhibition last year. You can learn more about the Art of Flight here. Here are some rad photos by Sam Mellish of Schoph at work in his studio in preperation for the show. Good luck Schoph, should be a banger!
Schoph has teamed up with the guys from Huck again to exhibit in Seignosse, France next month. The show called Rolling Back the Years is a celebration of the glory days of 80′s skateboarding when times were rocking and true legends are born. The artists involved have created designs inspired by the pools and mullets of old school skateboarding that have then been screen printed onto decks. The show runs from 6th October – 12th so if you’re around go check it out, prints of the artwork will be available for sale on the Huck website after the exhibition ends. We’ll post up some photos of Schoph’s work and the show as soon as we get them!

Rootz’s new artwork series ‘Loosen the Fears that Bind You’ has been used as a set of surfboard graphics for Australian company Inlayz. The company supply these structural graphics layers to surfboard manufacturers around the world so keep your eyes peeled for some rootz graphics in surf shops and magazines!
