Subism web design and development agency

A reworked UX with a bold new style for London's esteemed Eventim Apollo venue

Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, hosts and promotes a diverse range of music, theatre, and comedy productions featuring renowned artists from across the global.

The site empowers promoters to craft compelling landing pages for events, resulting in rapid sell-outs upon launch. It also delivers accessibility information and other event details in a mobile-friendly format for easy and swift navigation.

OUR APPROACH

Discovery - collaborative workshops, UX design + prototypes

By engaging in workshops with the Eventim team, we gained invaluable insights into their future requirements and identified current pain points. Additionally, we crafted user personas tailored to specific audience segments.

Using this knowledge, we created interactive wireframe prototypes for pivotal pages, demonstrating our proposed Content Hierarchy and Information Architecture.

OUR APPROACH

Create - A fresh visual identity

The site's visual identity was conceived with a focus on accessibility, cleanliness, and relatability. Our design approach emphasises a user-friendly interface that welcomes visitors with a clean and approachable aesthetic.

We aimed to ensure that every user feels at ease, finding the site easy to navigate and the content readily relatable. The design promotes inclusivity, making information readily available and enjoyable for all visitors, regardless of their background or level of familiarity with the venue.

OUR APPROACH

Develop - uninterrupted operation with headless technologies

Given Eventim's stringent uptime requirements, we implemented a headless solution in conjunction with Craft CMS. This approach decouples the user-facing site from the CMS, ensuring that any CMS updates seamlessly refresh the site.
